Freash air is very important, but most incabators have air vents and drying vents. Air vents cannot be closed saying they have no plugs and their not normaly very big. The drying vents are larger and let in a greater amount of air. One of the drying vent's plugs are missing and the insturctions a say not to remove them untill all of the chicks have hatched. My incabator is an air flow model that lets air flow without the drying vents open. I have a built in fan in my bator.
