My how they grow!

I would like to share with you some pictures of when we got the chicks last month and from today.

Now:

Then: Living in a kennel in the house because they were too small to be in the coop
Now: Living outside in their coop and run.

They're still pretty small compared to what they will be, but they're almost fully feathered and just so beautiful and soft. Every day I spend time outside with them holding them in my lap on the porch and petting them. I love my chickies!!! Best birthday present, evar.

The best thing about Silkies is they keep their fuzz and never lose that cute fuzzy look!

@Compton: So cute! The gray one is so much smaller than the others, looks like it doesn't bother him though!

@yyz: My chickies are silkies.

@theoldchick: Yes! I love it. I'm so happy we held out for silkies rather than any old chicken, they were worth the wait.
