My hubbys Peacock and peahen Peter pan and Wendy with pics!

I finally got some half way good pictures of pan. He is getting friendlier but its still hard to get close enough to get good pictures of him, our digital camera is old and doesnt have a zoom feature, So im sorry if they are blurry.

We sure did though it was touch and go for a while! There where tons and tons of peacocks peahens and pairs at the Auction in Kalona! My hubby bid on and won 5 times only to be told NO SALE they wouldnt take less then $125 for one peahen!
Finally he got a yr old pied india blue peahen for $50 because she is missing a toe! We dont care. We have revamped Pans name. Hubby had wanted to call him Peter and the female Pan but I cant stop calling him Pan so he is Peter Pan and she is Wendy! We kept her penned for two days and let her out last night ( the pen was to small and we had over 100chicks coming in today so no rooom for her) she is sticking around. Closer then Pan does! She like the garage and though she wont let u touch her she sat on the roost watching me dip all 100 of our chicks beaks plus the 50 someone else bought with us in water and put them in there brooders. She seemed to be thinking "what are you doing to all those little things to make them peep so much!" lol

I think she is beautiful all though I would of loved to have one of the Silver ones Hubby didnt like them as much but I thought they looked awesome!

Beautiful Bird! I bought a male bs midnight and a female bs split to midnight at a different auction ......but I recognize the cage design and the blue tag......anyway should be an excellent hen for you even if she is short a toe!!!
