Ok, he's got it in peices again lol.
He's going to devide the top and lower sections so it's 2 incubators. He explained it to me about having a false door etc for lock down. I'll keep you informed with pictures.

Ok, so he gutted it and put what looks like a deep oil fryer lol. I only want it to be one incubator so the twin thing isn't happening. It's plugged in and the temp is stable with the humidity sitting on 70٪ ready for Lock down for 7 duck eggs tomorrow.

Pictures 5 and 6 have changed. There's a better board on there. Scott also had to make the water valve. Just waiting on the 20 litre water container now so it can be fully automatic. I might add that it's now waterproof, no more Lake Michigan in my bedroom.
I'll put a picture of it when it's running with the lights on.

We can set the temperature and humidity to what we want and leave it. It's very quick to heat up again if you open the door. Will test it out next week for Lock down.

Ok, there's an issue with the door being open and the humidity going too high.
The humidifier (deep fryer ) heats the water to the humidity point that we set on the control unit. The thing is when we open the door, the humidity drops dramatically causing the humidifier to come on. The longer the door is open the hotter the water gets, so when we shut the door, the humidity goes to around 90% and very slowly comes down over an hour.
Scott is going to put a switch on the door, so when it opens, it switches the humidifier off. When the door closes again we are hoping the humidity will behave. Fingers crossed.

Oh what fun! We could steam food in this lol.
The switch works well keeping humidity at the level we set it at (65.0), only going 5% higher before it comes back down again. It all goes to hell when we open the door. The element boils the water so quickly the humidity soars. However, if I flick the switch to turn the humidifier off then open the door, it's fine. 1 squirt of the spray bottle on the glass brings it back to 68% which is when I turn the switch back on to maintain it. I'm ok with it but Scott's not happy lol. He's going to regulate the element in the humidifier to not heat up so much. I don't know anything on how it all works, but I'm happy with it so far.

The electronic speed controller is on it's way. It will regulate the element in the humidifier.
This will work. No one seems interested in this, so I'll leave it at that. I'm sure you'll see it working in other threads.

Yes. There's multiple fans, 2x Peltier modules for water res, 2 heat sources, 6 thermometers, 2 are for control only, 4 are for viewing, 2 are for controllers.
I might mention at this point that Scott has Type 2 Bipolar, he's good at what he does.

All this has been changed. It wasn't good enough.

In this thread, the humidity censor was faulty, the glass shouldn't mist up like that.
