My husband found these … what breed do you think they are?

My husband found a dead chicken and chicks that were run over by a car … plus these six guys. He didn’t take a picture of the dead hen for me to identify, so any guesses on what these guys are?

Can't see why there would be a random chicken and chicks walking along the road. Obviously a free ranging pet.

They could be blue copper marans. I'm not an expert though.

Maybe someone's hen snuck off and brooded a nest in secret. It happens.

My husband is in banking and does site visits. It was just land. Plus, people let their chickens loose and or free ranging. Just wondered if these guys look like a specific breed. I’ve never had chicks that look like them.

I’d assume. A chicken crossed a road with chicks and got run over. Some chicks evaded.

What rightful owner? Random chicken crossing a road. No homes. Land. I just needed some help identifying.
