Your babies are growing up to be quite beautiful! Maybe you could post a pic of his/her saddle a little closer up? It sure looks like there are saddle feathers there, but it's hard to tell for sure.

The one in the back with the red comb I know is a roo, as he was one of the ones with the green paint on his head from Ideal. So what I've taken note of with their males is that most lack a fluffy cover over their long tail feathers at this point. Nearly all of them have red rose combs now. Except two. These two (who were marked as male) confuse me to no end... they show almost no traits of the EE (no muffs or beards), have no apparent comb or wattle, and they do have that puffy patch of feathers over their back end. They look like really cool birds as opposed to chickens.

That's interesting, silkiechicken. I will have to keep tabs on who ends up crowing in a few weeks.
