Hi, I'm new to chickens - I moved to the Gulf Islands in BC Canada a year ago and thought it was the perfect opportunity to raise chickens.

I currently have 6 chickens: 5 hens and a rooster. The rooster and 1 hen are Sizzles. I also have 3 Fayoumis and an Amerucana.

My favorite aspect of raising chickens is watching them go about their business. I also love the fresh eggs.

My hobbies include carpentry, gardening and ukulele.

I found out about BYC while researching my new hobby. I joined to show off my flock

we are glad that you joined our community. You have some very beautiful birds, I bet by now you are addicted to chicken tv.
