My Introduction

Hi everyone! My name is Shelby and I am new with chickens! I got my chickens a little over a month ago and they were around 6-7 weeks when I brought them home. I got four to start with because I didn't want to overwhelm myself! They are a mix of Olive Eggers and Ameraucana Lavenders. I found out about backyard chickens when I googled EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I had about my chickens LOL! I love all animals and I fell in love with chickens when my new neighbors moved in next door and their Rhode Island Red hen and Buff orpington rooster began to visit us everyday. The rooster is such a love bug and all he wants is attention - he loves to be held, and picked up and will jump at your feet until you pick him up! Keeping chickens has been so much fun that now I want to add some ducks!
