My Japanese Quail is broody!!!

Pics
I know I'm late on seeing this, but how fun! I had several broody hens a few years ago. They were so fun to watch. All the other hens in the run with them would lay their eggs on the nest, so I marked 6 and removed all the others daily. One hatched 5 (the 6th egg disappeared, I may have accidentally removed it or something.) Another hen was inconsistent, so when it was "time" I replaced the eggs under her with ones from the incubator going into lockdown. They made wonderful moms, too. (It was super adorable!)

Anyway, with mine, they went broody when they were in a larger run and I put in one of those long, plastic planter boxes for them to use as a dirt bath. I think it was the narrow shape and ability to back into a corner.
