my jungle fowls

well i don't know if this goes here but anyways i acquired a few of red jungle fowl from my uncle who got them from his relatives so i need an expert in this field to determine if these are pure birds

What species are they to be? Where are the relatives from, if I may ask?

They are nice looking birds and yes the hens do have a small comb and males are showing a realy nice comb. Do post pic of them as they get older. If I may are you relatives from Laos?

Look like jungle fowl to me....very nice. Wish I had a trio.

If I'm correct what you have are laos/thai junglefowl. They are not pure as in Indian reds....but very close to being pure as in Laos junglefowl Burmese.

pure jungle fowl will tend to fly a lot when trying to catch it even when they are young
