Grass clippings will also darken the yolks if you don't have any of the above.. Naturally, you wouldn't feed them grass clippings that have chemicals on it. Just cut grass from your lawn works. Just throw it in their run. You noticed I said clippings.

Thanks for all your tips x I gave them chopped up cherry tomatoes today and peppers they seemed to like the tomatoes and pecked at the peppers so onwards and upwards I'm gonna read all your posts carefully and have fun experimenting x

I was having the same problem until I thought about their other food being pellet-sized. So I started chopping up any garden lettuce, radishes, broccoli, etc. as well as squash blooms, watermelon and pretty much everything I give them. I chopped up and they dove on it, loving every bite and eating all the veggies I knew they would like. Maybe this will help you.
