My ladies...

I am new to raising chickens and love 'backyardchickens'. I wanted to post some pics of my few random hens that I have no idea what breed they are. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to post the pics yet.
Hope I can figure it out soon. I am anxious to know!

Hi - in the box at the top of the dialog is an icon looks like a sun & mountain, that will lead you into how to upload. You have to have the images in your site album first - you cannot directly load an image from your camera/laptop to the post. It's a bit confusing, but you will figure it out!

It's EASY! I'm technologically impaired and I did it! The thread is started. Save your phone pics to your computer. Click reply, on the top click the sun and mountains icon. Click upload files, pick your pics, click submit. Anytime you post, you can add pics the same way, but once you've posted a pic, it's in your BYC album. EASY. Let's see some pics!

I wish I had an icon, all I have is a white box with gray around it. At the bottom is a preview/submit buttons, get notifications check and an editor button.

The icon with the little mountain should be on your reply box; however, I use my iPhone for everything! I live in the boonies & my satellite connection is soooo slow. It might look different on a computer. I can post a photo from my camera roll on my phone. If you have a smart phone u should be able to do the same. Good luck. Oh, just thought of this... U need a certain # of posts I think. That might be it.

Ieeeee... Any post, you should see this icon to ^^^ that one to add pictures. Here's what it looks like



So you clicked "reply". At the top, you should see the icon to add pictures. Then, you should see this once you click.

still trying for pics. Now I am on my phone and at least I have icons! But when I try to upload pics it says 'embedding' and then I hit reply and it takes me to new posts. ?
I will try with the pic again and keep my fingers crossed.

I think you might need to have a certain number of posts before you can post pictures, but the number of posts needed escapes me! I would check out the BYC website questions section because there are some great "how to" posts for posting pictures.
