My Lavender orpington project

Here are the latest results- they are 10 months old now. I am trying to breed for more "basketball" looking orpingtons. I love my roo-he is getting territorial though, but does a great job!!. I have a 4 month old roo off of these- I am going to try him over something, but havent decided what yet. I am hatching some eggs as I type- I will post pics when they finish!! YAY!

Very nice! Lavenders are on my list of breeds to start on next spring. Hopeing to get some of Hinkjc's stock.

That is where my rooster and my first pullet came from (Hinkjc)- these are 3rd generations from them - I love having lavender chickens, people around here are so amazed by them.
