my lesson: feed my chicks earth worm(red wigglers)

since I first got my chicks in late March. over nearly 3 months, I experienced 3 chicks was sick and saw died in my hand. I want to say: raising chicks for me is a bit depressed. every time chick died, I wanted to cry for several days. I am new to the raising chickens and put a lots time and effort. but some times I was so naive to kill the chicks.
I know just how that is! I have decided, at least five times, never to raise chicks again. Then, I forget. They die so easily, and it breaks my heart each time! I am sorry that you feel this too. Hang in there!

For the future, it's not a good idea to make a chicken vomit. It's too easy for them to aspirate, and this can cause them to die. Aspirating means they can inhale some of what they vomit out. It can go back down their breathing hole (trachea), which is the little opening at the back of their throat. That's their airway.
