Sugar Monkey, thanks so very much for taking the time to come and share your mom's words. Rachel has a very special place in my heart. I have never "met you", but know that you and your dad, and BB, and Echo have a special place in my heart as well. I am at a loss to be able to say anything that could make sense of the suffering you and your family are going through. No child should be faced with loosing a parent. But, we'll never know the why of it this side of heaven. I urge you to cling to Jesus.
Rachel, when you get to your beautiful heavenly home that Jesus has prepared for you, get ready for the most fantastic reunion. I believe that time will no longer cause separation once we pass from this life. You are going to physically meet so very many people who you have "touched" with your words here on BYC. You are going to hear stories about how the grace with which you fought the leukemia battle, and the love you showed to all in your path along the way have made a "kingdom" difference in people's lives. I believe that the Holy Spirit working through your life will have a far reaching impact in causing folks to place their faith in the redemptive work of Jesus. I for one, am looking forward to getting that hug from you.
Blooie, my friend. I'm so sorry that you are loosing your dear sister. Again, I don't have the words to make you feel better. But, know that you and your family are in my prayers. I pray that her passing will be pain free. Hugs to you.
