My cremation fixated friend really rides the senior bus with me several times a month. Not an expression just truth. She won't even get a window air conditioner, she keeps her windows closed all year (our summers are usually HOT and very humid.) She said she isn't hot.

Once when she got home on the bus, her neighbor ran over and said that friend's dog had
been screaming. He couldn't tolerate heat (mainly because so overweight) and her chickens were panting and looking terrible. That gave her a good scare and she finally bought a small fan. She also rides the bus only early mornings so she can get back for the animals. BTW she lost her turtle and one of her canaries to the heat that day.
