It was insane more work than we thought it would be... my kids, especially kid 3, put in a crazy number of hours restoring that dome and making the new cross.

What makes the dome gold colored? Is it paint or *gasp* gold?

It shows up beautifully against the SNOW. With more SNOW it will show up even more nicely. Well done by all involved.
