My leukemia's back.

Not many people think of it but, when you have Cancer you cant really go out in public. My Aunt lives uphill from Birtch Bay, but she cant really go

So on a lighter note---all you moms out there will identify with this, I'm sure.

I finally really took a look at my main pantry this morning. There appear to be 6, yes SIX open, half eaten jars of peanut butter

Why? Why open not one, not two, but five blessed jars of peanut butter? See what happens while I'm gone? It's madness I tell you, madness! I've not even bothered to ask the guys about it, I can already see the blank looks I'd get and I know I won't get any sensible answer.....

Well, sometimes it can be hard finding things. You know those opened jars sometimes get shoved to the back and what's a guy to do?

I'm well acquainted with that look. You can ask but all you'll get back is this...

Or maybe they'll tell you they were sooooo busy looking after everything while you were gone, they just couldn't find the time to find the one open jar so having several open at once was a huge time saver. Yeah, that's it, lol!

If you ever wondered if your guys need you around, 6 open jars of peanut butter should answer that question!

I have the same thing, but not as much as when our kids were still at home. Back then I used to believe that I gave birth to 3 kids but ended up with 6 - Tamrin, Terrin, Kenny, Not Me, I Dunno, and Huh?!

Well, you see, there is this magic, a sublime pleasure, a joy... that moment when the perfect silky perfection of a new jar of peanut butter is broken.

That and popping the lining in a new jar of instant coffee.
It's a thing.
Granted, it's a weird thing, but it's a thing.

Now having eight jars of opened mustard in the fridge, five jars of unopened mustard in the pantry, and 'Mustard" scrawled on the grocery list because they swear we are out.
That is not a thing. That's... just.. grrr.

My bone marrow's still clear--no leukemia creeping back!

Now the word is they have three donors to choose from, and drew more blood to do some fine-tuning tests to see who is the best match. I feel so blessed that so many folks have signed up to be donors and are willing to do this for a complete stranger.
