My leukemia's back.

This too shall pass.

Roscoe is happy.

Get well soon Rachel, roscoe is super cute! How long have you been having chemotherapy? My aunt has stage 1 overion cancer and has 6 months of chemo

Roscoe's forgiven me for packing my bag. He's keeping his normal activity of staying within about 4 feet of me at all times.

We helped some friends get their travel trailer/home packed up for a move today, then went out to dinner with them. So nice to do some normal things! Still feeling bad, though, will call my nurse tomorrow and get some advice.

We once had a dog that would unpack the suitcase as the Princess was packing. They are forgiving creatures - not at all like me.

Happy New Year, Rachel - may next year be a GOOD one for you and your family. Yep, Roscoe too.

Chicken soup.
My Rx is chicken soup. and a grilled cheese sammich.
Feel better.

I was going to make tomato soup and a grilled cheese sammich.

No bread.

I ate potato chips instead.

So, I'm feeling better today. I'm usually anti antibiotic, but gotta admit in come cases they're great. Honey's been sick, took him to the doc today and got him doses up too. He starts school on Monday, and I'm going back to Portland (hopefully), so he's got to be better. No other option.

I'm still missing that grilled cheese....I bought bread today.

On a chicken note--I'd thought the small tan egg I was getting the last few weeks was from my older bantam cochin hen, starting back up. Yesterday I got to hang in the coop for a while and was shocked to see my little baby buff silkie hen going in the nest box! She's not really a baby--hatched late May--but I've been thinking of her as a baby. Being a silkie, I never expected her to start laying now, I was thinking March or so. Well, she did her business quickly and left me a cute little egg--how cool is that! Only problem is, I'm getting eggs and wanting to incubate....but no chicks until after the transplant. I've got to talk to the docs about when I can plan to spend time with the birds (chicks aren't really birds, are they? Do doctors understand chicken math?) but it will probably be summer before I can hatch, if everything goes well.

Happy New Year everyone! This is going to be a good year all around
