Hey! What am I doing? If they are virtual you can have CHOCOLATE!

...maybe sourland won't eat it before you get any.

So glad you've gotten some outdoor time - it is amazing what a huge difference what a seemingly small thing can do for one's soul.
Thought of you today - I had an opportunity to use the "pay it forward" approach to Girl Scout cookies. The young lady whom I enlisted to find and gift the right person was too cute and seemed ready to take her mission very seriously, so I am sure that my sponsored box found it's way into the right hands. It's funny, I would have never thought to do this with GS cookies and yet one of the favorite things for the kids and I to do is a few times a year when we are out to eat we'll pick a table and pay their tab.

I'll galdly share my chocolate with sourland. Thank you so much for the pictures and support. Mostly it's just boredom right now. I'm getting hydrated tonight and a big gun chemo tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.

I got to see my bald eagles today

. They just make me smile, I love to see them. There's a pair that must be nesting nearby, I can't see the nest cause they fly around the corner of the Shriner's Hospital out of sight. But they crusie the river outside my window looking for take-out....so beautiful!

They're sending you a message, Rachel! They're telling you, "You won't be cooped up in there forever! Soon you'll be free of that place and able to enjoy the outdoors and spending time together with your family again out here where you love to be. In the meantime, we'll just watch over you!"

I declare, that Sourman is as bad as a teenager. Leave anything edible sitting out, and there'll only be crumbs when you get back . . . .

You said 'eagles,' and immediately I started hearing this song playing in my head. It's one we sang in the choir, though of course, we didn't have Josh Grobin doing a solo:

Isaiah 40:1 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I'm praying for you Rachel. When my hubby was in the hospital for 6 weeks, very sick, and I was told to get our affairs in order, because things looked very bleak, I clung to this verse. This verse gave me the strength to continue putting one foot in front of the other, trusting the unknown path our Lord was taking us down, and waiting on Him to guide, strengthen, and comfort.
