I agree with all of the above and I also wish you well. I hope everything gets better for you. I think they have to be pretty hard nosed to put people through what they do. Good luck to you!
It's a cold, gray morning here. Yesterday morning it snowed (a rare event here), then it turned into freezing rain/sleet. Everything is coated in ice; my world has been turned into a crystal kingdom.
Over near the workshop, I noticed some bird netting covered in ice; something so mundane, made unexpectedly beautiful.
Thinking of you this morning, and believing that He is doing something beautiful for you.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy spirit.
Well, thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes, but it's not today
Apparently the cells are being collected today, but they're coming from the East Coast and with shipping/transport time they won't get here until O-Dark-Something. They used to go ahead and transplant whenever the cells got here, but have moved away from that. For some reason, they've found a fully staffed, awake hospital makes for better outcomes than a sleepy resident in the middle of the night if something goes wrong. Go figure
So, 11:30 Thursday is the projected time. They pick late am cause it's a kind of down time for the staff, and they have a block where they're able to sit and monitor me. That's another thing...no one really wants vitals taken every 15 minutes at night! I'm a little disappointed about not getting cells today, but I can appreciate the night's sleep. Honey says it only puts me off by 1% in my hundred days, so he's not going to fuss too much either. So, kind of just a marker day, nothing special going on. There's a Supernatural marathon on TNT, that's about my big plans for the day!
Bunnylady--I love the pics! I used to drive by hay fields with those big line sprinklers, and they'd hit the barb wire fences and freeze into beautiful crystals, so lovely in the early morning sun!
