My leukemia's back.

Oh, Phil! Congrats to you and your whole family!! Ma used to tell us that babies are God's promise that there will always be a tomorrow! Did I ever tell you how smart my Ma was???

I'm not ready for grandkiddos yet. I'm settling for baby chicks---two in the incubator

I think my breathing is worsening. I tried a very slow taper on the prednisone and I think that's why I'm having issues. Boogers and snot. I called the lung guy, pretty sure he's going to say hit the nebulizer and do a burst with the prednisone. I've got lung function studies on Wed, to see about tapering the cyclosporine, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel that. No point in having it done if I'm having breathing issues, right?

Managed to get some work done on cleaning out my Marans' pen today. Got it about halfway done and Honey came home early. Bless his heart, he had the rest finished in no time. And makes it look easy! Then he trucked some hay bales out for me to use for bedding, fed the horses, and helped set up a second brooder. I love my Honey

Blooie, glad you're feeling better. And yes, that totally makes sense. It's amazing what your body can adjust to, and you don't realize how bad off you really are.

Let's make an amendment to the charter of the Team to have a healthy, incident-free spring!

Good morning Team!

Phil, big congrats on the upcoming grandbaby!

Rachel, sorry to hear of the breathing issue. It's a real blessing to have a helpful spouse.

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday

No they are not runners...they are from my khakis...8 out of a dozen were fertile which I think is pretty good considering it was winter.....I pitched 4 clears today.....I am thinking of getting chicks instead of trying to hatch shipped eggs.....I found a place less that two hour drive...it's a farm that specializes in Icelandic chickens by the bridge....

Since you found some Icelandics that close, I'd go with buying the chicks too. Such beautiful birds, I like how each one looks a bit different.
