I do not believe my husband has ever bought me cut flowers.
It has always been a plant.
Lately, we have been buying orchids. With tissue culture, they have become very affordable.

I think the only time he bought me roses was because they were extra long stems- and he rooted them.

New to BYC from Miami sending you the most powerful medicine of all, a prayer in Jesus name that you will be healed, and strength and love for your family.

Only if they are a plant... that will last at least for the summer! Dead flowers that sit in a vase and rot are such a waste of money! (IMO!!!)
Agreed! So not a fan of cut flowers, all I can think is how much $$$ was just wasted........I love the thought behind them, but it just seems so silly, especially given how expensive they are anymore!

Much better than cut flowers -- I love that he was able to get them to root, that's a gift that keeps on giving!
Checking in to see not much has changed....shame on you sour:D

Bad news 1st......lost a hen the other day when a board fell on her & she was there ???? Hours til I gothome from work & found her crushed:(. Lost another hen last night. Dang raccoons. Putting my fighting gloves on tonight!

So, check out my new addition to the flock! Hbhoffman sent this beauty to me last week. He is adjusting well.

We named him Hollywood. He is always fixing his feathers!
What wonderful pictures! I had to do a double take as Hollywood's little friend is a dead ringer for a little girl I met while visiting my sister in Mississippi recently.

It should be more like:

Story of my life, lol
