My leukemia's back.

Hi everyone,
Okay, I need some funny chicken jokes! I am finishing a quilt that hopefully can be finished to enter into the fair this Sat. a.m.! It is a chicken themed quilt with chicken wire as the last border. I can free motion some words onto the border. A friend suggested "Cluck, cluck, cluck" all the way around but in thinking about chicken jokes with "Cluck, cluck, cluck" after sound so much better! Any good ones to suggest?

Rachel, Phil and Blooie...how much heartache can we tolerate? Mt heart aches for you and your beloved families...my problems are insignificant compared to all that you face... Rachel.. so pleased to hear that Big Boy is home with you and he is feeling so much better...

I shall not linger here...but just to say that all of you here mean more to me than you could ever know... how is life in your new home NFL?

Sourland...Hope life is sunny and great for you with the Princess...

Suzie, so good to hear from you!

Our new home suits us very well. We work all the time which is tiring but we love what we're doing (managing a golf course) so all's well.

Missed seeing your posts, come see us any time you can. Love your pan picture, lol!

Hi Suzie.....:hugs I sent you a new pic of baby Alice....you've been missed. Come back and stay a while if you can.
Hey, Suzie!! Miss you.....so glad to see your name pop up! Hope you are doing way better - I think about you and wonder! You guys have my scuffing my toes in the sand here! Nothing I do is any big deal. Walk down any street in any town and look at the faces of folks you pass. Every one of those people have stories with some kind of impact on those lives and the lives of the people they love - some good, some bad, some just very ordinary. Some hike up their britches and get the jobs done, others bemoan their fates and wonder why "it" happened to them. I'm just a britches-hiker. The Good Lord blesses us all - sometimes with blessings we'd rather not have had when we first receive them. We just have to learn to be patient and look through the "junk" to get to the good parts, kinda like cutting open a watermelon to get to the good stuff! See? Easy!
Blooie....you are utterly amazing....i think we've both been busy so i haven't got to chat with you lately. But winter is coming again and idle time will afford us the time to catch up. I'm a doer too. But must admit i have my days that i bemoan too. Mostly on days when my breathing is giving me fits and all i want is one deep breath. Racheal I'm glad you are slowing down at work....you need YOUR time. Work on getting healthy is the best gift you can give your family. If it's meant to be a house will come.....(remind me i said that when i look for a better car).....take care all....and remember you really are in my prayers every night. Phil

I should be so clucky...Kylie Minouge clucky, clucky, clucky in love...

Well everyone here..I am so overwhelmed with your wonderful responses to my post...you are so very dear to my heart!

I am so pleased to hear that I am not the only culinary disaster person here...it is a skill that is acquired through practise of distraction when the food in the oven or hob is ignored when hot...resulting in some interesting comments..such as what was that before it became charred, even better for me is the usual phrase of...what restaurant is open this evening,...???

A stupid (ex) friend commented that I should throw my rainbow pan away...why would I do that I asked? It took well over 12 hours of neglect to get it that colour...

HI Suzie! I think you should try to add *more* color to that pan! Would purple beets work? Or what about carrots either yellow, purple or orange?
When I get a minute, I am going to take a picture of my DH's popcorn pan. Seldom washed and very much loved.

Thanks for the joke!

Thanks for the joke!
I have followed the advice of many to change the colour of my pan...lemon juice, vinegar and a variety of chemicals...my Father used to boil rhubarb in a pan to clean it..amazing colour changes occur....sometimes purple hues are evident.

I may well be tempted to post the image on e bay...see if I can get some interest from an idiot willing to bid on this "one off"original pan...

Laughing so much now...thanks for your suggestions!

I always tell chicken jokes when I do presentations at school. So, I've got jokes! Corny, but jokes!

Why did the chicken cross the playground?
To get to the other slide!

A rooster goes to the library, tells the librarian "Book, book". She hands him 2 books and he goes out the door. Next day, same rooster goes up to the librarian and says "Book, book". She hands him 2 books & he goes out the door. The librarian is curious and follows him. All the way to a pond. The rooster holds up the two books showing a frog. The frog says "Read it, read it!"

I can't sleep after seeing all the raccoons on the trail cam this morning!

Rachel, so glad to hear you are feeling better. About the room for more chick(en)s, Isn't there always room? :idunno
