My leukemia's back.

Thank you all so much! They kept me til early afternoon to follow my cardiac enzymes, everything was negative. They tried to do the stress test but BP was too high so settled for an echocardiogram, which is unchanged from my baseline. So, no idea what happened, but no damage or residual issues. I'm good with that! My poor Honey so wanted to drive up but I convinced him to stay home and just kept in close contact. Bless his fellow nursing students and his instructor, they brainstormed with him all day on what could have triggered this. We are so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such supportive Christians, both on line and in person.

Our "Group Prayers" have helped you...! Great...no more hiccups now please! Get some rest ....you must be exhausted. Our continued prayers for peace, strength and healing are with you...now for a group hug....!

When I log on to a post my computer sends me to the last post written.
I read Suzie's post and said out loud, 'Oh no! She has hiccups now too?!"
I am so glad you are not sitting there hiccuping and peeing.

Glad the tests came out negative.
I was on two antibiotics that did that to me. Erythromycin does it and also
Florimycin.

I think the Florimycin is also called Clarimycin?

So in hindsight it all comes together.

My anti rejection med is called CSA.
CSA pulls the Magnesium from your system. I usually wind up getting infused with Mag during clinic visits, that's usual for transplant patients. Low normal level is 1.7. I often run 1.4.

With changing some other meds, they had to bump my CSA dose quite a bit earlier in the week.

Low Magnesium also causes low Potassium. Both those things being low cause things like irregular heartbeat, muscle cramps, and spasms......duh. That's why my heart freaked out, I was having muscle cramps, and my poor bladder keeps spasming.

Oh, to top it all off, apparently the ER didn't even check my electrolytes. How does that happen? I thought they did a CBC and chem panel on anyone presenting with cardiac issues. I sure would.

So, got a big bolus of Mag in the clinic, increased my oral pills at home, and got started on one more infusion at home. I'll just be thrilled if it keeps those horrible bladder spasms away.

I'm glad to have an explanation for what happened! Oh, and my wonderful NP dropped that prednisone down again, to help fight the infection. Bless her heart!

Got the okay to be out and about with the people! First stop had to be Wal-Mart. The store here is very new, fairly small and not crowded at all so it seemed a decent choice. Just a little bit of grocery shopping whipped me, but it felt good to get out. Now to find some hole in the wall used book store so I can browse. My idea of Heaven!

Hi Rachel,

I'm glad the cause of your latest problems was figured out, always easier to fix something once the cause is known.

Good news about getting to go out! That's a big step! Hope you find that bookstore so you can browse to your heart's content.

Have a great evening and get some rest.

Hey! I went to mega-con today with my boy. I perused all the firefly memorabilia and thought of you all day.
(There was a small kid there that his mom had made a Rocket costume for. He was adorable.)

I am glad they got that arrhythmia figured out. I hope it helps the UTI as well.
I imagine all of the fluids you were drinking were also washing out the electrolytes.

Battles are always easier to fight when the enemy has an identity and you can target the causes. Otherwise every diagnosis and every stab at treatment is a shot in the dark. So glad that you got to get out for a bit today. Slow and steady wins the race!

Hope it's okay if I hold off with your hummer for today - I need to download the rest of the pics to my computer. Prayers still coming!

Glad they or you have figured out the cause of some of the issues. Hopefully they will clear up soon and you can have smooth sailing! We are praying for you!

I paired my 2 BR hens with my CCL roo. They love him and he is a good roo. Thanks for the advice. Can't wait to hatch out babies! Have to wait 18 more days to start incubation because I already have some in there! Just mutts and all the eggs were washed because they were badly soiled. Just experimenting.

Have a good night and a better morning!
