My leukemia's back.

@sourland ! You waited until I left for the day to do that didn't you? You are so ornery...good thing I like you!

Anyway, I figured there were enough wild flowers to go around.

Thanks.

Beautiful flowers!

Today is Day 50!!! Halfway to home...yippee! Of course, my poor Honey is saying "we're only half way?"....poor guy really is not meant to be alone. I'm glad he has school to keep him occupied. Yesterday he got to spend the day observing in the OR. He got to see a total knee replacement, an aortic valve replacement, and a crainotomy. How cool is that?

A bed opened up on the bone marrow transplant unit today, so I'm back in my safe floor with all my familiar nurses. Not that the other floor was bad, 14K is just home for me and I'm much more relaxed here. Still have no idea how long I'll be in the hospital, but honestly I'm glad to be here. Trying to manage this at home was just miserable. Here, it doesn't matter if I need enough pain meds I get a little fuzzy. That's what the staff is for!

You sound so much better tonight..more upbeat! Still keeping the prayers going for "the girls". Tell those nurses if they don't continue their excellent care there's a whole passel of crazy poultry people coming for them!

Blessed morning to Rachel and the team! Sun is shining, birds are tweeting, Scout is crowing, and I'm getting ready to take a trip across the mountains to Sheridan. Hope the roads up there are a little better than it looks like from the house...storm the other day really dropped that snow level!

Your morning smile:

Hi Rachel, hope your day is going well!

@Blooie , I talked to a cousin in Laramie yesterday. She told me it had been snowing almost non-stop for quite a while. I believe she said they had about 18" and it was still falling. Don't know if you have to go that way and don't know about Cheyenne but be careful out there. And btw, what the heck is that in your hand?

Have a good day everyone!

Oh, I have to go look at my collection, but I believe that is a forester moth isn't it? Their wings are almost impossible to spread for mounting.
yea, I blew all my good karma in entomology.
