Wish I could also donate blood and bone marrow...I am forbidden due to having RA..it is so very frustrating that I cannot help in any other way than my humble prayers for you and everyone suffering...I enquired in the UK as to whether or not I could donate.... a young boy Anthony Nolan was suffering a long time ago...there is now a huge research institute in his name...

I will continue to pray for you and your family..also for anyone suffering from leukemia...it is prevalent in my Father's side of the family so I know something about it...

Keep being the wonderful person you are...your spirit speaks volumes...!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you wonderful folks! I'm feeling pretty darn good today. Should get the bone marrow results tomorrow and we'll know if I'm in remission and can move forward on the transplant process.

So...good news, the biopsy came back CLEAN

So, now I just need my magic number (neutrophill count) to hit 500 and I can go home. Currently, it's zero

. once I go home, I'll be home 7-10 days, then back for a round of consolidation chemo, I think that one's five days in the hospital. Then home for a few weeks and hopefully back after the first of the year for the transplant.

I'm so thankful for the clean biopsy. I knew it was possible I wouldn't be in remission and have to re-do the induction chemo, and I'll tell you, I'm not sure I could have stayed here that long! I'm a free-range momma, and confinement's starting to wear on me.........but I can do this for 2 more weeks, give or take.
