My leukemia's back.

Good morning, Rachel.

That picture won't budge - is it glued in place?

Glued, stapled and nailed!

Morning Rachel. Been a crazy weekend here. Hope yours has been good. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Have a good day.

Good morning, Rachel. Lifting up my coffee cup to salute you! Here's to an easy day today - one day at a time, right?

Oh, and I can't forget your morning hummer - This isn't the best photo I've taken but of all the hummers in my yard the Calliope has been the toughest to get!

Good morning Rachel, hope today is good for you.

@Blooie I think that's a good photo, such pretty birds.

Morning folks

Got to experience one of the big downsides to being so far away yesterday. Honey called and said Sugar Monkey had been vomiting and running a fever all night, had slept some of the day but was back at it in the afternoon. Lovely, sick child and I'm 250 miles away. Honey took him to the ED. Pretty sure it's not his appendix, sent him home with some meds and to monitor. He's doing a bit better today but still had some belly pains.

I don't know if I was hitting the pain meds too much last night, but I was getting a bit loopy myself. Not always sure what was going on, or what had already happened. Could have been too many narcotics, or I could have been getting sick. I spiked a temp of 101 this am so am getting the full work-up to find any potential source of infection. Still not eating anything, too painful to swallow. Between the fever and the high blood sugar from the meds and IV nutrition, I was so, so thirsty. But swallowing seemed to send shards of glass through the sides of my throat. Things have settled out some today.

I do seem to be losing a lot of dexterity, typing being on thing that's going. My spell check isn't catching everything either, so please bear with my if I'm typing some off the wall stuff!

Your time to take care of yourself. You've got a good husband. He'll take care of the kids. (I know mothers are mothers are mothers, but better that you are not exposed right now.)

Rachel...praying for you and for Sugar Monkey...in fact I am praying for all of your family...

Yes, it is so hard when we are a long distance from family when circumstances dictate that we are apart...but..not in our hearts...!

Take care of yourself Rachel and don't worry about spelling. We're just always glad to hear from you.
