Sigh. First real complication, a blessed UTI. I've been so healthy my entire life, never had an infection like this. Sucks, let me tell you! At least we caught it nice and early, so just outpt treatment. Drugs are good.....

Floated the idea of bringing Eve to Honey, he's less than enthusiastic. I can see his point, we've never had her travel at all. She has a sensitive stomach, never vomits but she gets the runs easily. Even cleaning that up here at the motel or dog park could be problematic, so it may not happen. We'll see....

Sorry about the uti. Cranberry juice and lots of it. It works as well as anything and does not wipe out your good bacteria in the process.
....as long as your mouth has cleared up, other wise that will hurt won't it?
I love to drink it and when you add it to the water you need to be drinking anyway, it can't hurt.

I am sorry that Eve might not get to come.

I understand your husband's hesitancy though.
If you were not so far away it would be easier.
Maybe you need to see if there is a med pet program around your hospital. You are in serious need of some fur therapy.
I had a dog that did that once. He loved to pet people.

How is the tooth? I hope it is not bothering you.
They need to take a look at it and make sure it does not add any infection or problem to the pile.

Sorry to hear about the uti. Hope that clears up quickly. I think @3goodeggs may be on to something with the pet med idea (or the cheesecake).

I had about 50 does, 5 bucks, 12 growing does for breeding replacements and HUNDREDS of growing friers........ I think I became immune to cute.......

We currently have a breeding doe and buck, 4 grown offspring, and 3 baby offspring. So, 9 total! Much easier math on the rabbits than the chickens!! The rabbits are super cute, they also will tear you up! We have 2 very aggressive rabbits that we have to be real careful during feeding, watering, adding bedding, etc. It has sliced my arm open more than once with it's back claws. Soon as the weather straightens up, that one is on the chopping block. I definitely butcher more roosters than hubby does. He said he will butcher the rabbits, we'll see about that. I am prepared either way.

Rachel, I hope you have a wonderful day. The weather here is nuts. Pouring rain. I have never seen it this bad. This is the 3rd day. Yesterday when we went out to feed the chickens, little girl and I were dodging-trying not to step on crayfish and frogs all the way to the coop and all the way back. Our whole yard is under water. It is terrible!!! I am considering buying ducks now.

We have 2 breeding does & bucks. One of our bucks only likes DH and tries to bite me when I need to mess with him. I've taken to wearing long leather gloves when I have to do anything with him. Those teeth are sharp!
