My leukemia's back.

I'm very somber tonight....I'm very angry....it's coming here next....let's just hope the people that are supposed to keep us safe can do their job. All these anti police demonstrations aren't making that easy....it may come back to haunt some of us....evil is real

Amen. And yes, Phil. It's headed here. Got faith? Gonna need it. My 9 y.o. GD wanted to turn the news on tonight during supper. Hubby said no. So glad he said no. I didn't hear about it until picking it up here on BYC. Even so Lord Jesus, COME.

Thank you for the prayers, I've been feeling at peace this evening. I've accepted long ago God may use this to bring me home earlier than I'd wanted, and I'm basically okay with that. It's the leaving the boys that would be the hardest, I think losing a mother early really can mess up a person for a long time. And I'm just not sure how Honey would do.....but anyway. God will provide for my family.

And no, I haven't hit the Ativan yet

Good morning Rachel & Team! Anyone have fun plans for this chilly Saturday?

Rachel, you're not going anywhere, you're stuck here with us. All that craziness in Paris. Worrisome news from a friend. I refuse to be down today...it's a new day, God has seen fit to let us wake up this morning, a new day equals a new chance to be happy and to be thankful for all our blessings.

Make it a good day my friends!

'Morning! Yep, got plans for today if the weather holds and it doesn't storm today. We are supposed to drive over the mountains to Sheridan today for some fancy dinner thingy that Ken has to attend. Means I have to get dressed up, too. Not too fancy, though - the invitation says, "Business casual." That always kills me - define business casual! It's one thing to a banker or real estate agent, quite another to a chicken farmer from small town Wyoming. Maybe if I wear my bibs with a button down shirt instead of a long sleeved t-shirt I'd be fine, who knows?

Business casual - a CLEAN flannel shirt and pair of jeans.

Middle grandson once asked me, "Pa, why do you always wear a flannel shirt and blue jeans?" My reply, "It's my uniform." Princess refuses to have me cremated if I 'GO' first, but promises that I will be dressed as above with a dog leash in my hand 'just in case'.

Works for me! After all, this IS Wyoming, and most "business" here is farming, ranching, oil, and tourism! I remember once a constant on Jeopardy was from these parts. Alex asked him what they raised and his reply was, "Beets, beef, barley, blisters and babies." Loved it! He left out bentonite, but you don't raise that...you put up with it.
