My leukemia's back.

Oh, Blooie, you know it, definitely still praying for Ashley. Chicken Pox can be pretty wicked for little kids even without Leukemia (as my mother could tell you - I don't remember much; I was delirious at the time).

Oh poor baby! I know they're very concerned about me getting shingles, I'm on antivirals for at least a year post transplant for that very reason. Well, at least they've identified the issue, that's always good so they know what and how to fight.

Blooie, I don't know if I'd said, but my Mom buzzed her hair when I got diagnosed in support of me. She's kept it that way for all this time, she just loves it. She's always had thin, fine hair and was at her wit's end to make it look nice. Now, she says she doesn't have to pack shampoo, a blow dryer or curling iron, styling product, etc. Plus, if she's taking a nap and someone comes over---no bed head! She enjoys driving with the windows down for the first time in her life cause she isn't messing up her hair. If nothing else, my cancer set my momma free

.

but if you want, I crochet a mean beanie, and make some really cute flowers to go on them....I'd happily send you some.

Thank you kindly. Now I have a heck of a learning curve trying to do at home what the hair guru did in the shop. Maybe the day before we leave to see my family was a bad time to try something this new and drastic, but I'm way beyond caring!

We're taking off about 5 am, so you all take care until I can pop back on....I'll probably try while we're traveling, but things will get hectic after we get there. So have a great Thanksgiving if I don't talk to you before, and for Heaven's sake - everyone stay healthy!
