My leukemia's back.

Hi Rachel..yrs I know what Rainbow trout looks like...:)
Just joshin with ya....
I don't know if 1mg make allot of difference.
I've been known to split 5mg tablets.
Usually I don't taper much lower than 5mg never seen to go through withdrawals that way.
Them Rainbows smoke really good...then flake them and mix with cream cheese and I think my wife adds sour cream too for cracker dip.
I guess I don't fully understand what happened to your lungs...mine is all asthma and work related. Being away from the shop and not having long periods of sub zero weather this year I think is helping.
For nausea ...you live in Oregon don't you.....:lau....that's exactly what they prescribed me when I went through my ills.... Just sayin....:) Phil

What a beautiful family:D

Sour, I figured the perfect way to tell DH about the chicks I ordered. When he got up, I gave him a box of chocolates (with duck dynasty on it!), and a heartfelt card. He said he felt SO BAD that he had not been out to get me anything.......oh yeah! I know opportunity when it knocks! I said, "Oh, honey, no worries! I actually ordered a few chicks and I just knew you wouldnt mind if I got my own valentines gift............." :lau. He just smiled lovingly. No need to tell him how much they cost. Wouldn't want to ruin the moment.

Excellent! I need to be taking notes...

That's the thing, some of us would honestly rather have chicks than jewelry, etc. I'm right there with you!

Phil, I know, but I'm really honestly just anti marijuana. I took some marinol right after my transplant when they were so freaked out about nutrition. Really didn't notice a difference in appetite or mental status, but I was on so much dilaudid I was pretty much stoned out of my mind anyway. I always say I'm too much of a control freak to introduce mind altering chemicals to myself. I don't drink except once in a while, and it's only one drink. I'm maybe the only adult in Oregon who has never smoked pot

. Never smoked a cigarette, either. All that clean living and look, I got cancer anyway

I didn't take any pics. We're just not picture people, apparently. I know with the phones it's kind of a picture world, but we just don't think of it. Old school, I guess. But you know what a foot long rainbow trout looks like, just multiply that by 24

. That was what was in my oven last night.....they tasted great! Now I just have to figure out what to do with the leftovers. Thankfully Honey loves to eat fish. We've had enough lately, usually I can't get enough but I'm finally maxed out. Kind of burnt out on eggs, too. doesn't happen too often, but every once in a while I simply can't eat another egg. It was cereal for breakfast this morning.

Sorry about the failed dc on the prednisone. I do agree the weather could have a lot to do with it. I'm glad I had the talk with the pulmo guy and understand I'll probably be on it to some degree always. I can handle playing with the dose, tapering or bursting as needed, if I understand that's what's going to happen. Do you ever go with the 1mg tabs? or just 5 mg changes? I'm wondering if the 1mg would be worth messing with, if it would really make that much difference.

Anyone on here take Glucophage/metformin? My pcp started me on it for my sugars and I think it's doing a job on my stomach. She told me it could cause nausea. The RX is for 1000mg XR tabs, 1 or 2 with evening meal. I was taking 2 at night, but was awake on and off all night with nausea. I split the dose to one in the am, one in the pm, now I'm just kind of nauseated or have an unhappy stomach all the time. Any ideas? I do take it with food, and I'm eating okay still. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same thing. I really don't want to take nausea meds to tolerate my diabetes meds.......course, I'd like to get off the diabetes meds altogether, but with the steroids just not sure if that's happening.

I'm going to put together a meal for our friends who lost his mom last week, using the chicken breast I got on a great sale. My standby is Farmhouse Chicken, basically a creamed chicken with a stuffing topping. Anyone have any other ideas?
I think I'd choose insulin, if it were up to me.

Yep. Cold here, but not as cold as you are! Puppy training is going well. She has about 1 accident/day... usually when hubby is watching her b/c he doesn't read her cues well. We're childless until Friday. What a joy that is! So much less mental overhead!

We need that cold emoticon! We hit a high of 11°.
Outpost, I am going to be laughing for awhile on that one!
Rachel, My DH is on half that dose. He said he didn't get nausea. But then he has an iron stomach. For him that stuff really does control it well.
Ok, here a ? for you all: I need new shoes. They are on sale. I could buy 2 pairs or 1 pair and 3 POL hens. What do you think?
Sorry for the heart failures! The gall bladder surgery isnt horribl. Recovery can take a bit. Heart on the other hand takes a good while to recover. Just go slow so there isn't a recovery relapse.
Hey, do we have a shivering Valentine's emoji?
