My leukemia's back.

Okay, I was gone for two days and hope I can catch up on everyone, apologies if I miss anyone.

Phil.....Oh my goodness, how terrifying! I can't believe they didn't transport her anyway. Keep a good eye on her and if she changes at all, gag her and get her butt to the hospital. One thing I've learned from this illness I've had to deal with is sometimes you need someone to take care of you, if you feel you need it or not. Praying she's okay.

Lazy--strep throat! But I hear you on the "at least this is something we can treat" good news part. I'm sure you're not a huge fan of antibiotics either, but they do have their place and this is the time to take them. Are you doing yogurt or probiotics also? Keep the good/bad stuff in check, you know.

hb--I've got lockdown starting tomorrow, with my own eggs. I'm so excited! First hatch of the year.

Eggsy--aren't verbs just for folks who do things?

You don't do anything on line, so I think you should be okay.

Blooie--I'll go read the other thread on Kendra. I'm with the Team here. Labels can be effective for treatment and getting assistance, but they don't define us.

Sour--good morning (or afternoon for you by now). You're such a comforting constant presence.

Our trip went well. Big Boy drove and got his first experience with a little bit of slush and packed snow, that went well. My folks, well, it's hard to watch parents age. But it was a great visit with them and my sister and her kids.

On the way home, I went into a feed store with the full intention of buying chicks and came out empty handed

. I know, right? They had chicks, just not anything that I really had to have. I was tempted by some white Leghorns, but I don't care for white birds and might get some white eggers in my surprise hatchery order. I was tempted by some bantams, but I've go an order of bantams coming in June. So, I'm good for now.

Plus, they're giving away chicks tomorrow with feed purchase. Why buy them when you can get them for free

Hey, Phil. Sent you a p.m.
Thanks, Rachel!
Blooie, Let us know that they get home safely.
Thanks, NFL!
We also decided to collect the OE and Welsummer eggs from the new girls as we suspect they could be fertile having been out in the fields before we got them. I'd rather try to hatch a few more than eat the eggs. Hopefully at least 3 or 4 chicks will come out of this??? My new friend is willing to put another batch in her cabinet incubator after this batch hatches. YEA!
