Dandelions are one of my favorite flowers. They are so kid friendly. The flowers to pick, the seed heads to make a wish on. They were made especially for kids.

Wishing for some riding time now, Rachel! Been a very long time. Grew up riding weekly with a guide around the Orinoco river/Amazon basin/jungle.
Sold 7 chicks at the swap in 25 minutes today! Including my huge 3 week old EE rooster and the huge pullet as a pair today. Yes! And the 4 chicks that were hours old americauna welsummer and OE crosses. Kicking myself for not bringing the bielefelder males though. (Darlene, I saved the cream legbar! I think another week and it will be fine.) So thankful to God for them selling as I really needed to make some $ back!
eggsy, Wish I had a family to donate to! I have enough homeschooling materials to equip of family! Thank you for sharing the materials with them!

Great, great church service today! I've been gone the last two weeks and really missed it. Our church is embracing a program called Safe Families as a ministry, and I'm excited to get started. We're maxed out on space now so can't take anyone in, but there's a lot of other opportunities to help.

I got a lot of chores done yesterday. Finally got those roosters butchered, and played the Chickie Shuffle to get birds moved around. About 5 more pens and I should be good

. Moved the Camo Eggers out to a grow out pen and they did fine their first night.

Hb--congrats on selling the chicks! I've got Marans chicks in the brooder and need to get an ad on CL for them. Time for those ladies to start making their purchase price back.

We've got rain and bluster here---hope the sun is shining for someone

No sunshine here at the moment...well, to be fair it is nearly 10.00 pm and the moon is hiding behind dark rain clouds...my husband has just finished laying a large amount of concrete and THAT is the reason it is raining...

I'm having heat and humidity here in FL. DH is having blowing snow in WY. Seems there should be someplace more middle of the road for us, lol.

Refurbishment project of the stable block...all of this in the front area is to be modified and extended to include a new chicken coop, new duck and geese housing and three stables and stalls for my horses and donkeys...starting with a new roof when the weather permits...

Gonna take some time...!


And this is all because my husband is having to clean out the existing animal housing while I am incapacitated...! Maybe I will get the other foot operated on during the winter months so I don't have to get freezing cold cleaning out the animals...!
