Oh, wow, how exciting - congrats on the new job. I do understand the anxiety, but would it really be undoable for you to have a couple of weeks between jobs if that did happen -- if you can afford that sort of gap I'd look at it as a positive and a chance to have a little rest before the next adventure begins. I was a bit longer than anticipated between jobs during this last change, but I am SO glad I had the time I did.I'll say a special prayer for you today.
I am so tired this morning. Out too late. Work won't let me sleep. I start new job June 14th. Giving notce of resignation on May 30th. That scares me. They might say "See ya! Leave now!" Then I will not get my scheduled vacation week (june 6-10). Have half mind not to give notice, but I don't want to be like that.
You all have a good day!
So true!!!Phil, you just keep finding kiddos to take fishing. You have no idea what a difference you might be making in their world.
When I was younger, a horsie family helped me and hauled my horse to events. My mom was a horse person, but we were so blessedily broke a horse trailer might as well have been a million dollars. Those folks only had a two horse trailer, so sometimes they made two trips to haul my horse. Wonderful, wonderful folks.
I'm off work today, looking forward to a productive day at home. Got the bulk of the garden in, now I just have the pumpkins and some misc to get in the dirt and get a drip line set for.
Year-round school is actually not that bad, DD was in a year round school district while we lived in N.C. and we really liked it.Summer is crazy busy here too. We have a broody and she is doing her best. She is our one and only Dixie rainbow hen. She is HUGE, so sitting on a mess of eggs is pretty easy for her. We have yet to candle them, and pretty sure DD shoved more under her than the original 6. Better get the incubator fired up. Who knows how many days in between she hadKIDS!
2 more days of school. I thought they were going to start going all year. Hubby would really love that! Better get some shut eye. Still fighting sore throat and tongue:/. Good night.
I hope that you had some restful snuggle time and that today will dawn a better, brighter day for you. Hang in there! It was the cyclosporine this time, not the prednisone. I don't know anything about tapering it, I just *gasp* followed the instructions they gave me. To the letter, believe it or not! It was to decrease by 25 mg every two weeks. Both care providers felt that was a slow taper. I think it's the same instructions they gave me last time I tried to taper this med. I'd made it down to 50 mg twice a day, now I'm going back up to 100 mg twice a day. Thing is, this med also causes me to be on potassium, magnesium, a muscle relaxer, antiviral, antibiotic, antifungal, diuretic, blood pressure med........yep, little pity party here.
Okay, I'm over it. Going to bed and snuggle with my honey.
