Honestly Blooie, the smoke never crossed my mind. The Locusts are all little pyros, so I never get near fire of pretty much any sort---outdoors at least.

When sister was looking for her place she went to look at one that was advertised as "2+ acres, fenced, barn, etc" -- well when they got out there she was looking around and asked, "Where are the two acres?" -- over an acre of the place was under water in a giant lily pond. Yes, it was two acres of land total, but when half the place is a pond and you write the add the way it was written you are clearly being deceptive.

It was warm again yesterday - pushing 70

- supposed to be about the same today and then drop about 10 degrees tomorrow and get rainy again. Trying to get myself motivated to get going - plan on hitting the DMV today for attempt at Oregon license #2 (attempt #1 was abandoned after I'd waited over an hour and not even been called up -- left in disgust, pretty hard to accept crappy service when I know how it CAN be done after working for the BMV in Indiana).

OGM, come down here! Our DMV is pretty good to deal with. In and out in a decent time, friendly folks, etc.

So......Echo just told me his girlfriend has been diagnosed with mono

Normally, not a big deal. But, with my immune suppressed status, I'm not sure how worried I should be. Not like Echo and I are kissing or anything, but we still share a household. Got a call out to the MD office to get some info, if there's anything I should be doing and what I need to watch for.

No Kissing the GF for Echo! And disinfecting the body and especially hands before entering the house imo! Talk by phone or video chat. No gf at the house until cleared by Dr. either. Just not worth the risk. HMM alive mom or sick or infected mom?? No choice there- healthy alive mom! Long term it's the best thing a son can have!

Thankfully the sick girl is an hour away, so she's not dropping in any time soon

. I guess if he's got anything brewing I'm already exposed. We're not physically that close, so I think I'm okay. It's just one of those things...years ago I'd not even be concerned. Now, I'm worried I'm going to end up in the hospital.....sheesh.

Livestock auction is tomorrow, but the only time our realtor has to show us houses is at that same time. I'm bummed, but maybe it's a good thing. I've sure got my hands full dealing with the animals we have here, I don't need to be tempted any more!

One of the places we're going to see tomorrow is only 2.5 acres.....but it's flat and mostly cleared, and it has a barn! My mind says it's too small, and too close to the neighbors, and all the neighbors are growers, but my heart says....Barn! None of the other places have a barn or many outbuildings for that matter. It'll probably be better to start from scratch.....but a Barn! We'll take a look, there's just one pic of it on the listing. Sure, dozens of pics of the house for heaven's sake, but only one of the barn.....what are they thinking, anyway

Howdy.. . Rachel now i understand... I was always using to find out if your breathing issues were G vs H.
In some ways in relieved as i believe in time that may just go away
I dealt with G vs H for about 4 years.
At a year out I'd stick hard with the prednisone. It takes a while for the new immune system to get used to your body...... Your in my prayers.
Sorry i was away for a few days just extremely busy..... Kacy came home today and got her Jeep.... The new engine runs great so she should be good for a while.
