My leukemia's back.

Blooie--that's wonderful! It's been a long haul for such a little girl....but it sounds like things are going well. Bless her heart, it will be wonderful for her to put the chemo, etc. behind her.

LG, hope your kiddo is feeling better. These viruses are just miserable.

Yayy for Echo.....  hope you are feeling much better, Rachel!

I got some news!  Little Ashley got her lumbar puncture/chemo yesterday and if things continue at the rate they are going she'll have one more in March.  Then in April she'll get to "ring the last day of chemo" bell - isn't that fantastic?  Jenna said she still takes 18 pills a day, and she'll have some other stuff after April with checkups and some kind of short term maintenance scheduled, (you and Phil would know more about that stuff than I do) but she's doing so well!  You guys have been more support than you'll ever know!

I assume they will do a tapering schedule..... I pray for her every night .... :hugs

Yay, Ashley!!  You go girl!!!  Sick kid here.  She's been under the weather for 2 weeks, but she's finally eating today, so I'm hopeful she's on the mend.  I have to work this afternoon, so having her older brother get off the bus here to be with her.  That way, she'll only be alone for 3 hours.  vicious cold here.

Hoping she's all better for the holidays.... :fl

Big Boy got sent home from work today cause he's coughing so much he's giving himself the dry heaves.

Not sure if I posted about his Dr visit or not. Dr seems pretty sure it's all reflux related. Started him on Prilosec 40mg a night. He's still vomiting some, but again he's eating like crazy. I've tried to talk to him about portions size, etc, but it's not making any impression. Dr did set him up for a dietitian consult, we'll see how that goes. Poor kiddo needs to lose so much weight. I hope that's all that's wrong. Dr was willing to do a gi work up, but wanted to trial the meds first. We'll see.......

But, I just don't want to catch his cold. I've been pretty good about not getting sick. I'm getting a little worried about my breathing, I'm just more and more short of breath doing things I normally do. See the University team on Thurs, lung Dr the next week.

My acid reflux is always worse when my weight is up..... He really should take it serious..... Nothing is worse than waking up because your airway spasms from acid washing up...... Tell him how serious it is..... And i pray that they get that breathing figured out soon....... Thinking about you.... Phil
