. I thought it was pretty funny. I've seen my hens thwack mice just that way to get them down--it's amazing they don't choke.

Once we tossed some baby rats into the chicken yard and they went crazy for them!

Chickens are very good mousers for sure

Good morning

Rachel, how is Big Boy doing?

And LG, is your girl better now?

Big Boy went to bowling today. His cold is about the same, I don't think he threw up last night or this morning. He was eating last night, though.....

I hope we can get some stuff done after church today. I need to go into work for a bit, but the stalls are in desperate need of cleaning and re-bedding. Maybe Honey and Sugar Monkey will work on them. I was calculating, and our momma cow could be due to calve pretty much any time now. Her calf was born in late Feb, if memory serves. She's looking pretty rounded, but cows always look round to me, I'm used to horses. Anyway, I need to read up on calving and have some supplies on hand, and a clean stall.

I'm such a wimp. It's frozen and I don't even want to go outside. I go out to feed and water, that's about it. Back in by the fire for this lady!

KIds called for an update and said that the thermometer on the car registered -29 as they got close to the Wind River Canyon. Right now they are almost to Douglas. This is gonna be a looong day for everyone!

Yes, a long day for all of you. Keeping all of you in my thoughts Blooie
