My leukemia's back.

Migraines are ghastly. Prayers for Echo. (and hugs for all of you!)

You all are too funny!

Quickly popping on with a prayer request for anyone still awake. In the ED with Echo. He's had a migraine for the last 3 days. Thought it broke earlier today but it came back and brought reinforcements. Poor kiddo. 4 tries to finally get an IV in, now he's got the cocktail on board and we're waiting to see how things work.

I hate being on my phone.

Best wishes and prayers for Echo...migraines are miserable. I hope the cocktail got him settled.

Rachel, I used to have those so often the doc put me on a preventative...if he has those frequently maybe that's something that would help him out?

Thank you all. The protocol seems to have worked. He's not up and around yet this am, but mumbles from bed that his noggin is okay.

He's got a training flight at the local airport this afternoon, so I'm pretty sure he's going to drag himself to school if he's dead.

First migraine for him ever. He's had concussions, he said, 3+ years ago when playing football. But no other headache issues. We'll follow up with his PCP and see what they want to do. I had them when I was younger, they seemed related to my hormonal cycle. That's not an issue now, so no more headaches. Yippee!

We got an e-mail yesterday from our Realtor, the sellers have accepted our offer! Now, we just need to sell this place---that's going to be a challenge this time of year. It looks so bad, with all the animals and the mud. I'd like to see if we can lease out the pasture of the new place sooner and move the animals, let this land rest and recover. The mortgage guy says it's going to be at least 90 days before we can close escrow, since it's a rehab loan. That's a long time, but I'm trying to trust God's timing.

Congrats Rachel on the accepted offer. Now to pray up a buyer for your home. All in His timing. That will give you more time to sock some money aside, hopefully, barring more vehicle issues. Glad Echo is doing better. I missed that news. Migraines are killers. I get them often, it doesn't matter that hormones are supposedly no longer an issue. I think most of mine are triggered by light issues. Also more prone if I don't stay well hydrated.

Woo hoo, Rachel!!! The Good Lord may have opened that door you've been praying for! That kinda answered your dilemma about replacing the truck with a "temporary" or taking on payments for a brand new one, huh? Happy for you!!

So sorry about Echo's migraine -- I had never had someone close to me deal with those until after DD's TBI and she has been struggling with them since, never realized just how absolutely debilitating they truly are. I do hope that he is able to get up and around *and* enjoy his training flight today. You mentioned previous concussions, etc, perhaps they are catching up with him? Amazing news on the accepted offer -- fingers crossed that your plan on the leasing of the pasture land works out because that sounds like a great idea. Will be conjuring up a buyer for you!!!

Rachel, that's awesome on the accepted offer! Here's hoping and praying for a buyer for you
