It hit 70 today and broke a record. Shouldn't count though because I was napping as usual and missed it. I was supposed to pick up all the fallen branches from the Sycamore tree but, it's not like they are going to move anywhere soon.

I think a nap would be a wonderful way to test that theory. Surely, if they were going to try to sneak away, they would do so when you were napping.

This is my Bielefelder rooster from about 8-10' away. He is huge,curious, and watchful. He leads the flock.

This is the Crested Cream Legbar rooster. He is also gentle with the hens. He takes up the rear position when the move from place to place to make sure everyone stays together.

Here's Heather the Lavender Orp that was accepting of the CCL rooster's affections.

This is my CCL hen. Pretty sure I saw her accepting the Bielefelder affections.
Now if only they would switch to CCL x CCL & Bielefelder x Bielefelder!
And lastly does this hen below look like a Bielefelder hen??? I have mine still out at a friend's about 45 min. away so didn't see them grow out and we lost so many to that hungry hawk- like 20!

Honey and Sugar Monkey worked on that truck all day yesterday. today Honey took it for a test drive and it overheated.

Phil, I think you need to make a trip out here and help him fix it. Something's got to give. It was supposed to be a step in a drive, not a fixer.

We're headed to Portland tomorrow, testing Tuesday. No big plans while we're in the city, just haven't been inspired to find anything to do. Just praying the Locusts don't kill each other while we're gone, and no baby calf comes.
