Thought we might have to put our 15 year old dog down but $155 later the awesome vet says about half of his issues is arthritis and we can try meds for a week to see if that helps with his pain. Yea!

Hey all. Had a bit of a rough time. Of all things, it started with a spot of athletes foot at my little toe. Well, when you have zero immune system, that bit of nothing turns your foot to a purple throbbing thing that is so exquisitely tender no one can touch it. IV Vancomycin is brought in, with all the fun Big Gun antibiotics bring. But, it's so much better today. I'm pretty glad.....hate to come this far and die from a stoopid athletes foot. Talk about never living that one down lol!

Sugar Monkey is ready stepping up with selling birds for me. He's even sold roosters, something I've never been that successful at. Bless his little heart, I love that kiddo so much.

Farkle is a dice game. I think some folks call it 10K, cause that's the score you play to. It's simple and a good way to pass some time.

One of the nurses took pity on Honey yesterday and moved us to the primo room on the floor. It's a lot bigger and has a way better view, but the really nice thing is it has a much larger sleeper bench. Last room he would either sleep curled up., or put his feet up on the wall. Here he can finally stretch out and sleep!

Sorry to hear about the awful athletes foot. That must have been so painful! Glad it's going away now.

Very cool about selling roosters. I can't even give them away here so have to process them. Maybe I should ask what his secret is.

How to hear some real good news soon..... How are those feet doing today?

I hope they have some cooling Lotion for you.... I don't have Athletes foot but my feet have always had issues feeling extremely hot.... And best feeling in the world is to put a nice cool lotion on them.... For a guy who always wore work boots and walked in concrete I have me some real soft feet.....
