Hey All, Hug needed and received Phil! OGM, Me 2 on not having to put the dog done but my whole house reeks! There isn't a poop or pee free spot right now.

Pray for my daughter. We went to an awesome pulmonologist today, had a CAT scan done. News was not great. She basically has chronic pneumonia, & chronic, severe Asthma. Her left lower lobe is still crackling (in other words still has pneumonia) and Dr. thinks my dd has a permanent spot of bacteria growing constantly in her lungs and her immune system continues to attack it destroying the lung tissues. Dr. is ordering a $15,000 respiratory therapy machine as this will likely be lifelong. And it is likely it will be denied by insurance. Her heart meds are making her compromised, damaged lungs worse. Dr. has ordered 3 new meds for 2x daily plus 2x daily RT. There's more but enough said. It was a 3 glasses of wine day for me. There are times when I wish I could handle a drink. This was one of them. The good news? We have now meet our deductible and the meds are free.

Congratulations on the room with a view and a place for your favorite guy to sleep! And to selling your roosters. That son has a talent for selling!

Oh, HB, I am so sorry to hear that about your DD -- I will be thinking of and praying for her (and you!).

I guess I should have whined about trying to get rid of my cockerels a little sooner - I now have more homes looking for a cockerel than I do cockerels, lol. Landlord stopped by today to take down a tree that has been needing to come down since we moved in last summer (also took out the guttering on the side of the garage, lol, but at least that was the only damage and they are the ones that did it) and while here they were checking out the new coop and birds. Turns out they would "love" to have a nice cockerel.....just need them to decide which one they want as I also got another hit today from someone wanting one -- so as much as I would hate to back out on the lady from way down south that wanted them I can't say I'm all that anxious to make a 2 1/2 hour drive with two cockerels in my car. Hey, @donrae - if your honey hasn't gotten rid of all your boys I could send her his way, lol......how far from Corvallis is your place?

A new week begins! Supposed to be a while lot off beautiful weather (beautiful for oregon = not raining every day) hourly you are enjoying seeing it out your new window on the world and it helps to strengthen you!

Phil, sounds like you're a couple days behind us weather-wise...we had a snowy, cold weekend but yesterday the sun came out and the temps should be warmer this week.

Speaking of cockerels...I'm pretty sure 1 of my 6 new chicks is a male. Wish I could keep him (he's a Welsummer) but that's a no-go here. Hope I have some of the good luck finding him a home like the rest of you.

Yeah... WE got a couple crappy days a head then done nice weather for a while.
I can't wait. I got a ton of study to do outside and it sure would be nice to have good weather to do it in.

Got word early this morning. My sweet sister Linda was taken to hospital in an ambulance. Russ couldn't wake her. She's now in ICU on a ventilator and is still unresponsive. Prepping here for high speed run back to South Dakota. Could sure use some prayers here, but I don't even know what to pray for at this point. She wanted to make it until Ashley rang the bell and she did. But her little body is just tired......
