Rachel, how great Sugar Monkey is handling the birds and doing well at it. Hope you get some relief from the athlete's foot quickly. Way to go on scoring a better room (nice for you and your hubs). Hugs

Good morning Rachel and Team! Thanks for the ammo, Rachel - I've been telling Ken for 49 years that his intermittent athlete's foot could cause serious problems! I don't have to precisely tell him that you have no immune system, which made it worse for you. But if I can spread a little fear in him, I'm all for it! I know, shame on me!

Busy busy here. Most of us here have the wuzwels, but are on the downhill side of it now. Makes Kendra so much fun to take care of - NOT!! She's not often crabby, but when she is she crams it all into one or two days! Yikes!! For 2 days I couldn't do anything right! In all of her 5 years I've never had her yank a catheter out. She did yesterday. She pulled that puppy out and jerked the bag end of it out of my hands, yelling "Dat's enuff!" Oooo-kay then. And of course neither she nor Katie are going to school carrying this, so let's spread it around Gramma's house! <sigh> Oh, well....this too shall pass.

Think of you all the time, Rachel. Good job on raising those boys so well they can step right up to the plate and get stuff done. What a relief that must be! Did you get champagne with your room upgrade?

Oh, Rachel, so sorry about your foot -- but *yay* for an upgrade....especially for your honey's comfort, and a better view, win-win! The 10 day forecast looks positively BEUTIFUL -- hope lots of sunshine comes through your new and improved windows and you get a chance to bask in it!

Been a bit absent this week, it's been a crazy week and I am VERY glad it's Friday! @hbhoffman - glad you didn't have to put your dog down and hope the new meds are brining some relief.

Sugar Monkey is ready stepping up with selling birds for me. He's even sold roosters, something I've never been that successful at. Bless his little heart, I love that kiddo so much.

Wow - what's his secret? I ended up with two cockerels in this year's batch of "pullets" and have been having a heck of a time giving them away......at this point if nothing else comes up I'll be making a trip to Albany next weekend to meet someone way down there that has said she'll take them (excuse to go see my sister/mom - only reason I volunteered/agreed to drive so far to get rid of them). Maybe I need to just bring them to your honey, lol.

Hey All, Hug needed and received Phil! OGM, Me 2 on not having to put the dog done but my whole house reeks! There isn't a poop or pee free spot right now.

Pray for my daughter. We went to an awesome pulmonologist today, had a CAT scan done. News was not great. She basically has chronic pneumonia, & chronic, severe Asthma. Her left lower lobe is still crackling (in other words still has pneumonia) and Dr. thinks my dd has a permanent spot of bacteria growing constantly in her lungs and her immune system continues to attack it destroying the lung tissues. Dr. is ordering a $15,000 respiratory therapy machine as this will likely be lifelong. And it is likely it will be denied by insurance. Her heart meds are making her compromised, damaged lungs worse. Dr. has ordered 3 new meds for 2x daily plus 2x daily RT. There's more but enough said. It was a 3 glasses of wine day for me. There are times when I wish I could handle a drink. This was one of them. The good news? We have now meet our deductible and the meds are free.

Congratulations on the room with a view and a place for your favorite guy to sleep! And to selling your roosters. That son has a talent for selling!
