My leukemia's back.

Well, um, as long you are all popping in and out of the waiting room (and welcome, chickisoup and tastyacres!) wanna come and visit me too? Never mind, really, I just got home a little bit ago. Don't I look properly pathetic? Thought it was another heart attack earlier this evening, but looks like it's a lower lung infection. They let me go because my EKG looked good, my 02 stats were decent, and there were no proteins indicative of a heart attack in my blood draw. Still have to go back in Wednesday for followup, but hit the ER again if anything changes in the meantime, and had appointment set up with cardiologist for my usual checkup and stress test next week anyway.

Story behind the photo...remember when we were in South Dakota a couple of years ago and poor Ken had a gall bladder attack and emergency surgery? Well, I took one of him in the ER and he told me to post it so the guys (Masonic buddies) would know what was going on and I wouldn't have to call them all and tell them why he was going to be late coming back to Wyoming. He TOLD me to post it while he was laying there. Well, tonight he took this and posted it but I didn't know it until we got home and there were like sixty gabillion phone and text messages waiting for me. I yelled at him and he said he was just getting even for the gall bladder ER shot. Excuse me?? Good thing the bed I was in tonight is empty - he may need it!

I don't have time to do a lengthy post at the moment ...... but you will be in my prayers tonight....(you always are anyways).
Get some rest...... talk to you later..... Phil

You guys are just silly! Focus on Rachel....I'm just fine! Just testing to see how full the waiting room was now that we can't see the list of visitors on the side panel anymore.

Phil, I got to join the Prednisone club tonight. Do I get a T- shirt or baseball cap or anything?

LOL, I can focus on lots of people :). But yes, Rachel and her family have definitely been on my mind a lot.

Every day I also think about the kids I'm reading about and the struggles their families go through, and wish them well, too.
