9/11 Monday- consult with MD, Tuesday- catheter placement. Thursday/Friday treatment, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday treatment, pull the catheter and drive home.

So some "hurry up and wait" days sprinkled in there. It will give me time to catch up on work.

doesnt sound so bad, i hope it goes quickly and effortlessly

can you do a fun something on the weekend? Or do you think you will be feeling too bad?

Big city must have fun stuff... roller derby (but that season is in the winter time up here), or theater, or maybe a fancy spa treatment.

Spouse once forced me to do a spa thing. ... I really enjoy a good hot massage for the arthritis.

I'll be visiting some friends in Sedona for the weekend, but not sure if I'll do much. Definitely will get some good stretching in, since they teach yoga. I don't know how much I'll be able to do with the catheter sticking out of me.

one of my friends had dual mastectomies recently and when she was finally feeling a bit better her husband brought her out to one of the nicer restaurants in the area.
needless to say her husband didnt tell her her drain lines were hanging out
i couldve punched him, she was so embarrassed when she got home

i hope you have a full length mirror at least, lol

Got results back on my brain MRI..not the neck one yet. I was told all looked normal except for the blood vessels look like an older persons would look like, not one my age. They don't seem alarmed, they had a name for it..don't ask me now what that was..I just remember asking what that meant. I just got, that the lood vessels running from a something, is looking like it wouldn't normally show up until I was older. hmmm... ? They want me to go see a neurologist, and do some therapy for balance. I should have gotten the results from the neck by now. Will have to call back on Mon. I did have surgery on the C spine years ago. Hope all of that is ok.
