My leukemia's back.

Make it a good one!

Hi Al,

The spaghetti has been neatly trimmed and has a button on it that the connector clips the machine's tubes in to. Could be seen by some people as serious bad-ass piercings, but it's surgical plastic, no stainless steel, skulls, or bling. But still, there are 20 of them, so that has to count for something. :lau

I've got a small kitchen here, so have been to Sprouts and to Trader Joe's to stock up on goodies. Not a big one on going out to eat by myself. Still too hot to go out wandering much.

Brought my computers with me, so I work between treatments and this weekend I have a re-certification exam to take. Enough to keep me busy and make the time go by faster.

:hugs

yep!

20 is a bunch!

Your link said that I don't have permission to look at it.

Well, I guess lots if work will keep your mind off things, and that is good.

Mind still clear? Not fuzzy from the treatment? A clear mind sure will make it easier to do well on that recertification. :D

Wasn't your daughter with you? She went home?

Think I fixed the picture now.

Each one of those tubes connects to a tube in me and the radiation seed comes out through first first tube, sits inside me for a few seconds, and zips back into the machine. Then it comes out the second tube stops at a few places, then zips back in. This continues until the target area, all around the lumpectomy site, is all irradiated.

Yes, DD flew home since she only had a few last-minute days off work. Was sad to see her go but was glad she came down and check things out. Was glad she approved of the treatment plan.

Mind clear? Well, since I haven't had chemo, I can't blame it on that. Let's just stay I'm as about as scrambled as I normally am.
