my mom would let us ride on the hood.... as little kids.

I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit.... In the winter out favorite past time was BUMPER SHAGGING..... So much fun. We would gather on Street corners and grab onto car bumpers and ride down the snowy roads.
If you got lucky the car would stomp on the gas and haul butt..... Yeah I'm sure it's not safe... But so much fun.
When the lakes froze I used to take the kids out on the ice and let them bumper shag my car...... Now that would be abuse....

Well, when did you start drinking beer ? Dad had me doing shots by 4 years old - rock and rye at Hillbilly Hall.

Yeah my dad used to get me a bottle of peppermint snapps for hunting camp.
Started about 4th grade...

Drinking goes with dominos? I thought drinking went with golf (judging by what I see at the golf course).

but yes, dominoes are played at night, after the dishes are done, and accompanied by drinking.

Children though, only get one little shotglass. Grown-ups get a full glass, and are allowed seconds.

And thirds and fourths....

Beautiful here today. Went to a grandson's wedding. Haven't downloaded photos of them yet here on the computer. May share a couple later when on my phone.
Hope everyone is doing ok. I had a real nice fall down my son's stairs last week. Small fracture on top of my hand, and won't know about my knee until Thursday..or later. Pretty swollen still. Have an appt. with my Orthopedic. Was there for daughter in law to have her baby. She was doing well, then things went down hill..and I don't mean just me going down the stairs. All said .. and done..long story short...mom and baby are doing well. Also need to get photo from my phone.
