My leukemia's back.

Al and I will both be doing time then. I am here to confess that I have slain a partridge with my car. I then extracted it from my grill, dismembered it, and ate it for supper.

I am also preparing to engage in premeditated murder of mice and rats in my yard. And I just might employ a bucket of water as my murder weapon. Guilty as charged... at least I hope I get to be guilty. That means that my vengeful murder spree will have been successful.

That's what I like...a short, blood thirsty woman on a murder spree, lol. Bambi look out!

(I'll bake a cake with a file in it for you and Al )

For those of you blowing things out of proportion, it's perfectly legal here to protect yourself, with deadly force, and with a firearm. It's perfectly legal to dispatch a raccoon in a humane manner, including shooting it. Catching and drowning animals is not a humane form of dispatching them. Had he shot it, used an axe to kill it, or called animal control to dispose of it, that would have been fine. No, it's not ok for people to torture, or use inhumane methods of disposal regarding wildlife. He knew better. He decided not only to use poor judgement, but break the law too, and do it defiantly in front of a witness. He deserves what he gets.

@lazy gardener and @Alaskan I hope you know my posts were tongue in cheek and not at all serious. I'm sorry if either of you were offended by my posts.

That makes no sense at all. I've never heard of bond being more than the fine. What a crazy world we live in.
A lot of places want to get rid of bail altogether because it is not fair. Some big cities charge people and set a bail that they cannot pay. 6 months later charges are dropped but the persons life has already been ruined. It also cost more to keep them in jail than they get from the bail.

Bail here, to be released as soon as he's processed, is only 10% up front, but the full cost is imposed if he fails to appear in court. He can also opt to wait until the next morning, and get RORd, which doesn't cost him anything up front, but he will incur the whole fine, if he fails to appear.
