Having tubes removed is no picnic. In my experience, it was the worst part of the whole surgery, especially the second time. The second time, as the doctor was pulling the tubes out, I was telling him how I could tell that he played hooky the day he was suppose to be in tube pulling class.

very true. My mom was there when they pulled out the 2 tubes, and said the chest tube coming out was super nasty, and she couldn't get out how LONG it was! My dad was semi sedated though, do I don't think it was too bad for him.
 
Today was Theophany (baptism of Christ), and after the church service we went down to the beach and blessed the bay.

I know everyone in the lower 48 is freezing. .. but it was a nice warm day for us... maybe 30.

Kid #3 got the cross from the bay, but it wasn't tossed very far.. so this year was double easy..warm as well as no swimming.
