My leukemia's back.

Oh no Sourland! I didn't know...after all that Rachel suffered during her treatment, Rachel was a brave soul, never complained and just fought so hard, dreadful to hear the devastating news...was it a relapse of her leukaemia? It is wonderful that you all keep her thread open in honour of such an amazing lady.

Good morning Sour and Debby! I am sat indoors as it is so hot outside, cleaned half of the coop out earlier but had to come back in the house for a rest..we have had hardly any rain for almost 2 months now.

Suzie, it's so nice to have you back with us again! Hope you see some rain soon :fl

How have you been?

Glad to be back! Missed you all...I am fine, just tired but I guess that comes with old age...ha ha. So hope life is treating you well, I did post yesterday that I only had 22 chickens of the original 48 but that number was reduced overnight as one of my old girls was dead in a nesting box this morning!

Sorry for the losses! I take it you still have your farm, any other animals at the moment?

I hear you on the tired! I've been doing my summer job (6 months actually) and notice a difference between previous years and this one. Time has a way of catching up with all of us

One of the advantages to being my age is that I really don't give a darn what others think about me. As long as I am relatively clean and don't stink too bad, all is good. I guess I've pretty much been like that my whole life. When the aging process wears on me a bit, I do the 'comparison' to others my age and give thanks for my good health.

Agreed, Sour. I really have no one to impress. Hubby is "impressed enough", and that's the bottom line for me! I'm in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in. Hubby says, "Yeah, I'm in shape. Round is a shape."

Still have the "Farm" but it s only 21 acres, three GSD's, 3 donkeys, 2 horses, 2 rabbits, ducks, geese and chickens that provide me with enough work

Sounds like a real farm to me! 21 acres plus animals is enough to keep a person busy.
